Tasmanian Devil

Assalamualaikum,

The first time I saw Tasmanian Devil was at Lone Pine Sanctuary in Brisbane. It look so cute at first, I thought it was a friendly animal. But,guess what, it was scary to see when it suddenly open its mouth and roared like a lion, no, not like a lion, it was more like a tiger..?

This is when it's cute......

Now it's angry!!!

I learned from a reading that this animal is found wild only in Tasmania. But if you want to see it somewhere else in Australia, you can see it in a zoo or maybe at an animals sanctuary.

Tasmanian Devil is a carnivore and it is a marsupial. The size is about a small dog. It can have extremely loud disturbing screech when angry. It also can climb trees and swim across river.

I remembered, when we went to Lone Pine, there was a sign that says " We  look cute, but we may bite". Err...that's scary!

Keeps hands out!!

That's all I guess. Wassalam.

Kangaroo, Wallaby and Wallaroo??

Assalamualaikum,

Hello today I'm going to tell you about Kangaroo,Wallaby and Wallaroo. Do you know what are these animals?

Well, they look almost the same, but they are not the same. I got confused myself. Anyway they are from the same family, I guess.

I have photos of these animals, so check out yourself, see what difference, if any. I can't see the difference, except from the sizes.

This is a kangaroo

This is a wallaby

And...this is a wallaroo!

Hey...Aren't they all so cute? When I was in Malaysia, I never knew that these animals are different animals. When I am here in Australia only I knew that they are not the same animals!  I read from somewhere that "Wallaroo" is actually a word blended of that from wallaby and kangaroo. Hemm...may be.

Ok, that's all for now. See Ya! I can't write long. School already start and I have a lot of things to do.

wassalam.
